NJ Recycling Business Donates over $1200 to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital through June 2012 Customer Appreciation BBQ
Rockaway, NJ – Scrap Metal Recyclers in the Tri-State area was busy recycling their material and eating BBQ food for a good cause. Rockaway Recycling, a scrap metal recycler, hosted its third Semi-Annual Customer Appreciation BBQ this Saturday, June 2nd.
Customers were served free breakfast sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, and beverages were from 7am-12pm, while they brought their materials in to be recycled. For every food item consumed Rockaway Recycling also donated $1 to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Customers also took their own initiative by donating a portion of their own scrap metal earnings to St. Jude’s and also had the opportunity to enter to win an iPad 3.
To date, Rockaway Recycling has hosted several Customer Appreciation BBQs and has raised thousands of dollars for St. Jude Children’s Research.
