To have a clean #1 Copper Tubing you have to have multiple things. You cannot have any attachments such as: brass, solder, paint, or things inside. Some type of copper fittings that are solderless have rubber inside and cannot go as a clean copper tubing. Clean tubing has to have absolutely no attachments and often heavy corrosion will not be able to constitute for clean tubing either. Clean Copper Flashing should have no glue, nails, tar, or paint on it. If there are any contaminants, the price will be different at the scale.

Copper tubing is used in most commercial and heavy duty plumbing. Copper tubing is much stronger for the amount of water that goes through the pipes and is used for many hospitals and industrial operations. Clean copper pipe will always be worth more money for scrap, and you want to make sure that it is always clean when you sell it. Also, remember we offer scrap metal pickups in the Tri-State area for your #1 Copper Tubing.
