Replacing Your Catalytic Converter Can Be Expensive!

When you are faced with a repair bill that can be over $1,000, it’s a hard pill to swallow. We’re here to help. If you are replacing your catalytic converter on your vehicle, Rockaway Recycling can help offset some of the repair costs.

Yes, you can ask for your old catalytic converter back!

When working with a mechanic to replace your catalytic converter, you have the right to ask for your old unit back. It’s yours!

After replacing your catalytic converter, sell it for scrap value.

While it won’t cover your entire repair bill, selling a scrap catalytic converter can help offset your costs. Our team at Rockaway Recycling can help you with that.

Check corners, under shields, and down pipes for numbers. Not all catalytic converters have numbers.
Click or drag files to this area to upload. You can upload up to 20 files.
To get a quote sooner, attach photos of any serial numbers and an overhead pic of the catalytic converter(s).

How do I get paid?

Once you complete all the necessary steps to sell your catalytic converter, you will be given a receipt that can used at our ATM to receive cash.

If you wish to receive a check instead, you can request one to be given or sent to you.

I'm a business, do I need to verify my ID?

As a licensed business, you do not need to go through the ID verification process, as long as you present your business information when selling.

You will still need the proper documentation of ownership when selling.
