Customer Appreciation BBQ = Success
Rockaway, NJ – Scrap Metal Recyclers in the Tri-State area were busy recycling their material and eating BBQ food for a good cause. Rockaway Recycling, a scrap metal recycler, hosted its fourth Semi-Annual Customer Appreciation BBQ benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital this Saturday, October, 20th.
Customers were served free breakfast sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, and beverages were from 7am-12pm, while they brought their materials in to be recycled. For every food item consumed Rockaway Recycling also donated $1 to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Customers also took their own initiative by donating a portion of their own scrap metal earnings to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. In total $950 was raised and donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
To date, Rockaway Recycling has hosted several Customer Appreciation BBQs and has raised thousands of dollars for St. Jude Children’s Research.
