I am so impressed with your entire business operation that I had to write. I just wish that you had a site near us on Long Island! Your website has taught me much about “scrapping,” and you project a GREAT and WELCOMING attitude toward “scrappers” such as me. I am especially impressed with your charitable giving! I am a very small-scale scrapper, just cashing in on stuff from our garage and attic that has accumulated over the last 40 years of our marriage (and still counting), but every little bit helps, especially in this economy. Because we are not near you, I go to a local scrap yard, and they are very nice. I think the guys there cannot believe that this 62 year old retired lady keeps coming in with her solid brass lamps, faucets and door knobs, as well as miscellaneous steel stuff!

To Rockaway Recycling is the most professional place I’ve ever been to. Courtesy is paramount! Joe is great. They get you in and out in a flash. Can’t say enough good about them.
