What’s up scrappers!

I hope everyone is enjoying the summer and the great beach weather.

So lets talk about prep and what to do with your material when you get here.

Before coming down to the rock make sure to check the website for up to date pricing. During times like this where the market is constantly changing you may want to call ahead and confirm the prices you see on the website. The prices have been changing multiple times a day on some days.

Below are some common metals we see coming into the shop and how we suggest you prep them when you arrive.

dumping hoppersSTEEL

When you get here with steel  just make a mental note there is a 500 pound minimum on steel now. If you can make the minimum back up to one of our dumping hoppers lined up in the parking lot unload the steel into it and we will scoop it up and weigh it up for you.

ALUMINUM SIDING / EXTRUDED ALUMINUM

Most of the time you can grab one of the steel racks lined up against the wall of the building.  Large amounts make sure to grab a scale manager and they will direct you to a hopper.

Outside of the shop you will see rolling bins all different shapes and sizes fill one up and roll it inside onto a scale and get it weighed in.

E-SCRAP

Always go directly to BAY 3 with your e scrap that is where all the e scrap is located.  If you have a lot of towers just let us know we will bring you out a pallet.
