Rockaway Recycling Donates 20 Turkeys
Posted: December 3, 2013
Rockaway, NJ – Being a North New Jersey Business since 1977, Rockaway Recycling has always had a tight bond with its community and this holiday season isn’t any different. This month Rockaway Recycling is donating 20 Turkeys to Market Street Mission to help feed those in need within the community.
“Every year too many people don’t realize how many people don’t have simple things, that we take for granted. Year round Rockaway Recycling works with local charities, and it is our honor to help some families with these turkeys.” – Tom Buechel
Something that is a regular practice at Rockaway Recycling is helping the community. Every month Rockaway Recycling choose a charity of the month and donates to the great causes including their bi-annual Customer Appreciation BBQ.
For every item consumed at the BBQ events, Rockaway Recycling donates $1 to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. To date Rockaway Recycling has been able to raise a total over $12,000.
