Catalytic Control – A Division of Rockaway Recycling
Posted: December 9, 2013
Rockaway Recycling is happy to announce our new division of catalytic converter buying, Catalytic Control. We have always bought scrap catalytic converters but we are now giving our customers more information about how to prepare, identify, and price your scrap catalytic converters for several types of vehicles.
On the website you will be able to see current scrap catalytic converter prices that Rockaway Recycling is paying for. As always we will be sure to update the prices as soon as they change. If you have any questions about the prices of your catalytic converters you can always send us a picture of the catalytic converter that you have and we will be able to give you an estimated price. The price may vary once we see the catalytic converter in person, depending on the year, make and model, as well as how full it is.
If you don’t know much about catalytic converters you can always refer to our website Catalytic Control for how-to videos on preparing them, pictures and descriptions of different types and brands, as well as a FAQ section to help you recycling your catalytic converters for scrap. If you aren’t sure about scrapping your catalytic converters, give Rockaway Recycling a call and we can help guide you in the right direction of recycling them.
Catalytic converters have precious metals in them and the prices for them depend on the year, make, and model of the vehicle it is off of. The catalytic converters should still be inside of the casing when you bring it in for scrap. So don’t bother cutting the ends off. Also if you have other car scrap parts you are looking to scrap, you can see a full list of those parts and materials that we accept for scrap along with their current prices on the Catalytic Control website.
