Everything that we do stems from the support team around us. With employees from 1 year of history to 15 years, Rockaway Recycling always is watching out for their employees and treating them like they want to be treated.

Joe

Known for proudly wearing his NY Giants hardhat all of the time, Joe is also known for making customers get in and out of the door at Rockaway Recycling very quickly. Always looking forward to talking about the Yankees or Giants, Joe will make sure that you understand what you are scrapping and how to make more money doing it.

Sean

Whether you see Sean rocking out at the door buying scrap for Rockaway Recycling, or hanging out with his daughter, you can always rely on a good joke from him. While he may have lost his sense of smell, he can always smell some good scrap coming his way.

Jack

As a former college football player and a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan, Jack always is ready to show you his brute strength. Jack is can be found in the back sorting material, or making sure that customers get taken care of the right way while helping to unload.

Ernie

If you show him a nice gelato his Italian heritage might make him smile, but show him scrap metal and he will be whistling a tune. Known for his sorting skills, when you catch Ernie with a customer, he is always quick to help them out.

Virginia

Learning to parallel park a fork truck in the back lot when she was 12, Virginia knows her scrap. Whether she is in the office working on the Rockaway Recycling website, Facebook Page, or  YouTube Page, Virginia can have a good conversation about anything sports. Working hard shooting the latest how-to video, creating new customer relationships, or planning the next BBQ, Virginia is very helpful when it comes to her scrapping-knowledge.

Jose

When you see one of Rockaway Recycling’s trucks on the road, you will see Jose behind the wheel of them very often. Making sure to call customers before he arrives, help them load material on to the truck after he is there, and always driving safely, he wants to make sure that the job gets done.

Kate

If she isn’t enjoying the great outdoors on weekends, you can find Kate helping Rockaway Recycling establish great connections and relationships with other businesses in the Tri-State area. Helping Rockaway Recycling with coupons and events, Kate does a great job organizing semi-annual postcard mailings.
